Moving to Kolo.

Hi, everyone!
This is the last post before I leave here, Niamey to Kolo where I'm going to stay for a month.
And I have to make this short, because I have to go back to my room for cleaning before leaving.

Anyway, so far, we, other member of JOCV and me are going well.
Yesterday, we joined a volleyball match. Here in Niger, Volleyball is one of the popular sports.
It was really fun! I used to play volleyball when I was in uni. And I think I will play it with children here, too.

Ok, I really have to go now! Next post will be in a month. And I hope I will be able to post some photo, too.

Keep smiling, everyone! Miss ya!

Arrived in Niger!!!

Bojour! Bonsoir! :)

On September 23, I arrived at Niamey, Niger! When I took off the airplane, soon I felt the hottness. It was 35 c. Well, it is not that hot here in Niger, but it was really cold in Paris, so I felt so hot.

So far, everything is going great. It is just amazing to be here! Everything I saw and I felt is really fationating!! I really want to keep everything in the dairy, so I've been trying to write so often, but I can't catch up. Like that, there are so many things I'm amazed here.

There are greens! When I looked down from a window of the airplane, I was surprised, because I saw few greens. It was more than what I imagined. Now, the rainy season has just finished and it is going to be really hot in October.

Now, I stay in a domitory next the office of JICA with other members. And actully it is more comfortable than what I imagined. There is an air contidioner and we can take shower. Until Sunday, we are going to stay here to take some orientations and sessions. And on Sunday, we will move to Kolo to study languages. I'm going to learn Hausa which in local language in Taoua where I work form November. So excited to study new language! Hopefully I will be a good speaker of French and Haousa after 2 years!

In fact, there are so many things I want to write here, but I have to go back to my room now. I think I will write again before I leave for Kolo. Unfortunately, I can't use the Internet there. But I will keep writing for my own, and I will give you thousaunds of post in the end of October!

Thank you for reading! And excuse me, I think there were so many spelling mistakes! Just becuase I'm Nigerienne now! haha :)

I hope eveything is going great for all of you!
OH! Thank you so much for all of your E-mails! That was really kind of you and encouraged me a lot! Thanks again!

Love you!

Anyways, that's enough excuse...

It has been really great to take the training in Nagano.
We studied French for 5 hours everyday and thanks to my super wonderful teacher, I think my French got a lot better. Who wants to talk with me in French!?
But of course, I must continue to study French, otherwise, I will forget so easily...
Study, study, study!!!

I really have to say that I've met so many wonderful peple during the trainging.
So glad I am to shere really great time with them.
Actually it was so hard to say good-bye to them, but I know we will catch up soon and the internet will help us to keep in touch.

There are so many things I wanna tell you about the training, but I have to prepare something for tomorrow. Tomorrow, I'm going to see the major of Matusyma! So, I have to think about my speech.... And then, I will be on the radio!! I hope I'm going to have an interview and I think I will talk about my activity in Niger.

Well, I will write here again before I leave for Niger which in Sep 22.
