Moving to Kolo.

Hi, everyone!
This is the last post before I leave here, Niamey to Kolo where I'm going to stay for a month.
And I have to make this short, because I have to go back to my room for cleaning before leaving.

Anyway, so far, we, other member of JOCV and me are going well.
Yesterday, we joined a volleyball match. Here in Niger, Volleyball is one of the popular sports.
It was really fun! I used to play volleyball when I was in uni. And I think I will play it with children here, too.

Ok, I really have to go now! Next post will be in a month. And I hope I will be able to post some photo, too.

Keep smiling, everyone! Miss ya!

Arrived in Niger!!!

Bojour! Bonsoir! :)

On September 23, I arrived at Niamey, Niger! When I took off the airplane, soon I felt the hottness. It was 35 c. Well, it is not that hot here in Niger, but it was really cold in Paris, so I felt so hot.

So far, everything is going great. It is just amazing to be here! Everything I saw and I felt is really fationating!! I really want to keep everything in the dairy, so I've been trying to write so often, but I can't catch up. Like that, there are so many things I'm amazed here.

There are greens! When I looked down from a window of the airplane, I was surprised, because I saw few greens. It was more than what I imagined. Now, the rainy season has just finished and it is going to be really hot in October.

Now, I stay in a domitory next the office of JICA with other members. And actully it is more comfortable than what I imagined. There is an air contidioner and we can take shower. Until Sunday, we are going to stay here to take some orientations and sessions. And on Sunday, we will move to Kolo to study languages. I'm going to learn Hausa which in local language in Taoua where I work form November. So excited to study new language! Hopefully I will be a good speaker of French and Haousa after 2 years!

In fact, there are so many things I want to write here, but I have to go back to my room now. I think I will write again before I leave for Kolo. Unfortunately, I can't use the Internet there. But I will keep writing for my own, and I will give you thousaunds of post in the end of October!

Thank you for reading! And excuse me, I think there were so many spelling mistakes! Just becuase I'm Nigerienne now! haha :)

I hope eveything is going great for all of you!
OH! Thank you so much for all of your E-mails! That was really kind of you and encouraged me a lot! Thanks again!

Love you!

Leaving for Nagano

Tomorrow, I'm leaving from Uwajima, my hometown, to Nagano where I'm going to live during the training. I'm really excited about it except the fact that I haven't finished packing... oh, well...

I think I will learn a lot in the trainging not only from leactures but also from people who are going to take training with me. It would be really great if we could share all of our experiences.

Now, I'm standing on the start line. The goal could be far away, but I know I can get there.
I'm ready to start!

About me

Hi!
This is the second note. Well, we will see how long does it keep going ... haha

I like writing. But to be honest, I didn't like keeping a dairy online, just because I feel embarrassed to show my personal things. But now I think it is really important for me to share my feeling and experience with others.

Today, I'd like to talk about myself.
I guess some of you already know about me, even so, you could find my different points after reading this.
I'm kind of the person who is really positive and cheerful, I think.
And I do love traveling. Going to other countries, seeing other people and having experience of different cultures are my life work, I believe. Since I went to California when I was 18, I have been addicted to go abroad. When I was 20, I went to Canterbury, the UK to study English. I think it was my first turning point. It had been really wonderful to meet so many people came from all over the world, and I thought the more I met other people, the more I came to see myself. I mean, other people gave me a different point of view and I got a new "World View".
And I learnt that the world is beautiful. So, I wanted to know the other side of this world and I decided to join JOCV( Japan Oversea Cooperation Volunteers).

Actually this is not long enough to tell you all about me, but I'm so sleepy head now. So, let me leave it to the next post. Talk to you soon! Good night~. :)

Thank you for reading. Love you all.
